This selection corresponds to large pieces carved at the Carving Studio (website: https://carvingstudio.org/), a unique sculpture center located on an old marble quarry in Rutland, Vermont. The Carving Studio offers diverse education programs and workshops, and space and facilities for experienced carvers to work independently. Daniel Kaufmann returns every year to this privileged environment to create large pieces.
